ETRA – Eremo dei Cavalieri is the name that has been given to an ancient structure immersed in the uncontaminated nature of the Vallimentra, in the Alto Reno Tosco Emiliano also called Alto Reno italiano, among woods, fields and waterways.

Over the course of a few years it has been conservatively secured to keep the traces of the man who has lived there since ancient times.

It has a remote history and also a deep and important current history.

Around the Eremo dei Cavalieri, through numerous projects and activities, a widespread active and lively community is developing.

We learned about the Eremo thanks to Alfredo and Chiara, keepers of this place which orbits around the Valle of the Elves Elfi supporting the activities especially in Pastoraio. Love for this land and the passion one can perceive from the way the community cares for the Eremo and its heritage pushed us to include this reality in the path.
