Damjl was the first territory of the Damanhur Community and is now the historic capital of the Federation. Chosen by the founders because of the presence of a very important Synchronic Lines node in this area, it has been reclaimed from brush and stagnant water with the help of all the people who have volunteered their time and energy.

In the same spirit, over the years, Damjl has become a garden rich in art and places for meditation: walking paths, spirals, an open temple dedicated to contact with the divine, and common meeting places for Damanhurians, guests and visitors.

The community of Damjl is one of the four communities of the Damanhur Federation. It consists of eight different houses, residential structures called “cores”. Each core has its own specific characteristics and projects, interwoven with the projects and goals of the entire community.
